How does the site make you feel?

When one thinks of the Internet, think about technology. When people hear that I am an expert in web strategy, they see me as a “techy type”.

But for me the most interesting aspect of your online business is not about technology. These human connections and how you can create a virtual environment.

It is commonly accepted that “people buy emotionally, not spiritually.” Even when people think that taking a rational decision, powerful subconscious factors come into play to sell effectively, we have an obligation to meet the needs of our customers, to show that we can “feel their pain, and respond to signs of body language and tone of voice.

In the “real world” will do. And we know that if we can have a direct, face to face conversation, there is a very good chance that it will close the sale or keep a customer happy.

You can incorporate an interactive chat with a customer service representative during business hours or access a knowledge base search.

If a visitor sees your company for the first time, you should feel comfortable that you are who you say you are, and you can deliver what you promise.

So how “emotionally connected” is your website?

Think specifically why visitors come to your site, which could be in their minds, and review and copy your navigation accordingly. Think about new customers and existing ones, workers, media – everyone could have a reason to visit. You do everything you can to create an “emotional connection” experience for everyone?

You earn the right combination of time spent much more on your site, more calls from qualified prospects, more contracts signed, regular customers happier, the attention of new markets, offers of alliances and strategic partnerships, and knowledge of creating successful new products and services.
